I work with all kinds of people on a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and depression to loss and trauma. My approach is shaped by the belief that even our most maladaptive coping strategies are most often shaped by experiences of struggle rather than innate pathology. My goal is to support you in establishing a nonjudgmental space to explore your emotions, shed light on your fears, practice new skills and build on your strengths. As a therapist, I draw on relational, psychodynamic, and existential approaches. For me, this means that I am interested in how our history, experiences, and relationships shape who we are, who we become, and how we understand ourselves and our place in the world.
My social work practice is informed by anti oppressive, anti racist, and social justice frameworks. I utilize a health-at-every-size (HAES) and intuitive eating approach to work related to body image and food. It is important to me to create space in my practice for those who hold marginalized identities, including people who identify as queer or trans, people in non-monogamous or poly relationships, and anyone who has experienced oppression or struggle.
I provide brief and long-term individual psychotherapy through Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. I am considered an in-network provider through Jefferson with many insurance plans. If you are interested in working with me for psychotherapy, please contact the practice directly at (215)955-8420 regarding availability, rates, and insurance.

Letters of Support for Gender-affirming Surgery
I provide assessments and letters of support for individuals seeking gender-affirming surgery utilizing an informed consent model. I provide letters of support for ongoing therapy clients through my practice at Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. I also provide letters of support for clients who are not working with me for ongoing therapy through my private practice. I am typically able to write a letter of support following one appointment. This service is available via telemedicine for individuals in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. I utilize a sliding fee scale for this service. I am committed to reducing barriers to care for trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people, and provide pro bono letters if needed. If you are interested in an evaluation and letter for gender-affirming surgery, please contact me directly for more information and availability.
Supervision, Consultation, and Training
I provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training for professionals and organizations related to work with trans, nonbinary, and LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as harm reduction and anti-oppressive approaches to social work practice. I provide clinical supervision to Licensed Social Workers in Pennsylvania who are pursuing hours for their clinical licensure, and am available for both brief and ongoing consultation for clinicians and other providers. Please contact me directly for more information.
